Dr. Kelley Parnell

Dr. Parnell graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1994. She then completed an internal medicine internship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in 1995. In 1998, she finished her residency in Neurology, also at the Mayo Clinic. She also completed a fellowship in electrophysiology at IU School of Medicine in 1999. She is board certified in Neurology as well as Clinical Neurophysiology.

Dr. James Burkhart

Dr. Burkhart is a board certified Neurologist. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1970 and started his Neurology residency at IU Medical Center in 1971. He finished his residency in 1977. From 1972 through 1975 he served in the Navy where he studied at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, FL. While there, he studied medicine and how it related to high altitude physiology.

Brian Short, Nurse Practitioner

Brian Short received his Master of Science degree from Ball State University in 2000 after completing the Nurse Practitioner program. He then worked locally in family practice until 2005. He is currently completing his training in Neurology with Dr. Kelley Parnell.

 

 

 

Shelly Patton, RN

Shelly has many years of medical experience. She received her RN from Indiana University East and worked in Radiation Oncology at Reid Hospital for several years before joining our team in November 2007. She assists Dr. Parnell in performing EMGs. Shelly enjoys educating and developing relationships with the patients.
